‘Cannabis friendly’ event space opens in the Delmar Loop

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A new “cannabis friendly” event space is opening in the Delmar Loop. Called “The Church on Delmar,” the venue seeks to support local businesses and artists, host charitable events and community initiatives, all in an accessible gathering place.

In a release sent by SWADE Cannabis, a cannabis distribution company based in Missouri and the owner of The Church on Delmar, the company announced the opening of the venue next to their dispensary on the Delmar Loop. The space offers private rentals where add-ons to the rental can include a “budtender,” mocktail bar, decor services and more.

Alcohol services will be available through licensed caterers.

Located at 6166 Delmar Boulevard, St. Louis, The Church on Delmar is available to rent for a variety of events, including weddings, parties, and community gatherings.

“The Church on Delmar was created to bring people together, not just around cannabis, but around creativity, connection, and community,” said Joey Pintozzi, Chief Revenue & Strategy Office Beleaf Medical, and Project Manager for The Church on Delmar. “The cannabis landscape is growing, and this space celebrates consumption on a level that is brand new to our region. We want this to be a space where St. Louis can host inspired events in an environment that’s as inclusive as it is beautiful.”

Rental packages range from $150 to $500 an hour. Those interested can learn more on their venue’s website, www.TheChurchonDelmar.org
